Nathan Land family papers, 1835-1883.

A slave bill of sale is filed with land records, and a letter from A.H. [Alfred Holt] Colquitt, 1874, is with incoming business letters. This Twiggs Co., GA, family moved to Cass Co., GA in 1848. Nathan Land (1812-1880), a farmer and lawyer, served as Cass (later Bartow) County Ordinary.
